Title: Suspension Seat Post
Post by: sks on November 01, 2024, 08:25:58 PM
Has anyone changed their seat post for a suspension post? Any recommendations?  I've been looking at the Suntour, but the Kinekt looks nice too.  Any problems with the seat hitting the trunk bag behind it?

I used this one: SR Suntour SP12 NCX Seat Post 27.2X400mm  (https://amzn.to/4gED1pl)

It fits my Radexpand 5 Plus and really makes a nice difference. I don't have a trunk bag so can't respond to that. I do know it deflects a pretty small amount fore and aft.

I can't comment on the seat hitting a trunk bag but I have put the Suntour SP 12 NCX on my Radwagon 4 and it works great. I had to use a 30.8 mm shim but I have had it on for more than a year and it hasn't slipped or moved. It is an excellent low cost suspension seat post.
