Title: Rad/king meter shims for handlebars?
Post by: MatthewK on October 20, 2021, 12:30:33 PM
Hi all,

I've got the basic radrunner and scored a king meter display straight from China (AliExpress). I just installed it and it seems to work as advertised. However they did not include the clamp inserts(shims?) so just the outside mounts are wayyyy too big without the shims. For now I just wrapped a bit of weather stripping around the inside of them to have something to tighten down to. It works but it still moves around a bit. Does anyone have a good DIY tip for a solution or point me in the direction of where I can find the actual parts?

Thanks in advance

I've used a small piece of black rubber automotive type hose that I cut and split to fit. You can buy it by the foot at AutoZone, Home Depot, etc.
