Title: Clunking gears
Post by: RadBod on May 01, 2022, 04:25:51 AM
Still bedding in my new Rhino/Rover 6 plus but I am having trouble cycling using odd numbered gears. Clunking and jumping chain when I put it in 3, 5 & 7 but 2, 4 & 6 are fine. Any suggestions welcomed.

New cables stretch and new housing compresses so the gears most likely need to be tensioned. There are barrel adjusters on the rear derailleur and the (most of the the time) the shifters.

I have a Rover 6 my wife has a Mini and friends have two Rads. Of the four bikes three needed the derailers adjusted. My wifes bike was so far off on the low adjustment I lost count of how many time I turned the screw. My point here is that Rad could do better job setting these bikes up before shipping them.
