Title: Battery Jacket
Post by: Bob Rivera on October 02, 2020, 09:22:50 AM
Has anyone tried the battery jacket from ETSY? ITt looks nice. But I wonder if covering the battery would retain too much heat. Any thoughts about this??

It should be fine as long as the ambient air temperature is below 85 F (29.4 C), and you aren't using the bike hard (throttle only on long grades). I'd just take it off on really hot days.
But on the flip side, if it's cold out, it would help keep the battery from getting as cold as it would without the jacket.

That answers my Question. I live in Miami, Florida. Wouldn't work for me.
     Thanks for the info.
