Title: Cheap paint job
Post by: Doctor_They on October 15, 2020, 12:28:50 PM
Got my Rad Rover a few weeks ago.  Love the bike, but I noticed if anything metal touches the paint, it comes right off.  Installing the rear rack I chipped the paint a few times.

Contact Rad about the issue. Their support is good, and your experience is not typical. I have 700 miles on my RadMini 4, and the paint has been durable.

I would echo Altema's comments and say I have over 400 miles on my Rover 5 with a rear rack and I have no problems with the paint anywhere.  Not a nick or scratch or paint rubbing off.

I just installer racks and baskets on 2 new Rovers. I had no paint issues and infect thought in the process of install that the paint was very durable.
