It seems Rad Power Bikes' Black Friday has hit early with a $499 RadMission and $1,299 RadRover 6+: https://radpowerbikes.pxf.io/nL7O09
The deal also includes the old RadCity models though the RadRover is a much better deal. Accessories are also 60% off. I'd imagine some people might consider the RadMission simply to have an extra battery on hand (The RadMission pack alone is $449). Remember using the link above supports Ebike Escape (thank you!) - Happy Shopping! Prices good thru 10/31. Anyone going to jump on these deals?

We bought RadRovers when they were $400 off. Wonder if this means Radpower is in trouble.

or, it could mean that the model is a year old now, and it's a Prime Day type sale.
According to the web, there is an oversupply of traditional bicycles right now.
I like Rad and hope they do well.

After 2 years of impossibly tight bike and bike parts market there is now an oversupply? I waited 7 months a year ago for a new (not Rad) custom build bike to come in and still had to work out parts at every step. I did get new brake pads for the MTB this week off Amazon that a year ago were impossible to find.
Saw a notice about this sale last night. Could hardly wait to call Rad this morning. Just took delivery of my bike -- paid $1,999 -- now on sale for $1,699. I have 3km on my bike, am well within the return window and have kept all my packaging "just in case" -- so glad of all that. After a quick explanation, CSA Richard sought management approval (that took all of 10 seconds) and boom! $300 was put back onto my AMEX just for asking. NICE!!! What a terrific experience! Thanks, Rad, for making it as easy as ought to have been :)
It is because of this sale I am a new member here (sorry I didn't find the forum until after buying so I couldn't use the link provided here) I just purchased 2 of the RadMissions (1 for my wife 1 for me) The Rover was tempting but couldn't justify spending that at the moment, much easier to get the wife to go along with 2 bikes for a 1000 then 1 for 1300 (don't have the funds for 2 at 2600 even though that is still a great deal) especially when I pointed out the battery alone would be 449 plus 60 shipping (so 509) making the bike slightly cheaper then just the battery

+1
Does anyone know if the battery on the $499 RadMission will work on a Rover 5?
I know it is lower capacity at 504Wh vs. the 672Wh. If it works though, $499 would be a good price for a battery and a bunch of other spare parts.
I got my Rad Runner and waiting on the Rad Cargo 4. Hopefully I will get before mid November so I can ride before snow.
I am glad I jumped on this sale as quickly as I did, I see that the website now says "Sold out, this deal went fast and we will not be restocking this ebike" on the RadMission

Sharing.
I purchased 2 rover 6+ when they were marked down to $1599 a savings of $400. A few days after receiving my bikes I see that they are marked down to $700 off, I called Rad and asked if I could get the new sale price since I was in the 14 day free trial period and they said "no problem" and refunded me the difference.
How's that for customer service.
GO RAD!
