I have a loose charging plug-in stem on my battery. Can I fix or take the battery apart to see what's up with it? RAD inc. said to contact you guys. Thanks.
My plug port on my battery is a bit sloppy but it works just fine, so I don't worry about it. I also don't think there is a way to open/dismantle the battery as many of us have been wanting to upgrade the key lock.
The battery does have screws on the back. I have never seen the back opened anywhere online. There has to be a way to do it. If you're confident with basic electronics and you can resolder the barrel connector then it may be worthwhile to open up before a short happens.
I'm going to assume that your warranty is over.

I think you are talking about the 8mm male plug from the charger plugging into the female connector on the battery. As long as you are not having charging problems, you're good!
The battery pack can be opened up by removing the screws at the bottom of the base. On my battery there are two small stickers across the base-to-case seam that indicate that the warranty will be void. I am surprised Rad suggested opening on your own.

The silver squares on the circuit board are direct connections to the cells. Just be careful not to accidentally short them out.
