Title: Radster Road Rear Fender Swap
Post by: RADsterBID on June 24, 2024, 07:32:07 PM
Thinking about buying a Radster Road Large. Problem is the rear fender on the Radster Road will interfere with the securing arm on a OneUpUSA bike carrier. The securing arm on the bike carrier needs to touch the wheeel at about the 9 o'clock position.

Will the Radster Trail rear fender (it is much shorter than the road model fender) bolt up/fit onto a Radster Road? Are the Trail and Road bikes identical enough to use a rear fender from the other model?

I think what they have done is make the rack and the fender all as one now.  The fender bolts into the rack.  But it adds to the overall strength and rigidity.

You might be able to modify it, but the 9 o'clock position doesn't look to be an issue.
