Hi all,

Has anyone in the Forum done the Hiawatha Trail on their Rad bikes? Some are saying they might now allow Class 2 bikes on the trail.

TIA

What about Tannus Armour Inserts? I have them but have not had a chance to install them yet. (Just got our Rovers this week  :) :))

There are several YouTube vids out there that tout them and all are very positive. They are a bit more expensive than the other option though.  :(

Hi everyone in Rad Land.

Is there anyone out there that is using a Garage Gator lift or any other type of lift system to store your Rad bikes from the ceiling? We have two Rovers with racks on the back and I am having a hard time figuring out how to anchor the bikes on the lift. All the pictures of bikes are hung by the seat post and that seems like an excessive amount of weight to put on the seat when it is lifted up. I have regular bikes hung from the seat post with no issue, but they only weigh 20 or 25 lbs; these behemoths are much heavier!

The lift will handle 225 lbs, so not a problem for two heavy ebikes; however, figuring out a way to hook them up is the issue.

TIA all!  :)

Geroge,

Thank you. That bike looks great! Just ordered two of them.

@George3

Thank you.!

I would greatly appreciate photos of the install. How long did you have to wait to get the extender cable?

Thanks again.  :)

@CG31,

I emailed Rad and asked if I could get a discount on accessories since I had recently ordered two bikes, they responded and said when the racks get in stock again to purchase what I want and email the guy and he would refund the shipping. That makes a difference - $30 for shipping is a hard pill to swallow; however, free shipping is good!

Don't know how long you have had your bike, but it may be worth a shot to get your $30 back.

NOW HAPPY!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Wonder how many days it will take for them to show up on FedEx's website...

Update: Checked FedEx this evening and the bikes are in their system for a Friday delivery. Hope that actually happens.  ;D :) :) :)

Placed the order on 8/18.

Sept 9 received an email stating: Thanks again for placing an order with us! We're looking forward to getting you riding Rad in no time. Your order #XXXXXX for a RadRover Electric Fat Bike Version 5 - Black is on track to ship out in Late-September.

Today, received an update stating: Great news! Your order #XXXXXX for a RadRover Electric Fat Bike Version 5 - Black is ahead of schedule and will be shipping out earlier than expected. We anticipate getting your order out the door in Early-October.

Not sure how earlier than expected is a later date! LOL.

When I ordered the website stated September delivery. NOT HAPPY!!!

Got a link for that? Not seeing it available on the RAD website.

@SoCoRuss - Thank you, ordered 2 sets.  They were less than the Etsy ones and looked just as good.

The black is in stock now. With shipping and taxes, they are $100 - OUCH!!!  I believe I will go for the Iberia rack on Amazon for less than half that shipped. Reviews say it works well with the Rad Rovers.

I got an email yesterday saying I should expect my 2 Rovers in late September. Ordered 8/18.  2 or so weeks then.

Can't come soon enough!

Looks great! Can't wait to get mine. How is the seat? Is it comfy? If not, I will have to go with the Cloud 9 or other more padded one.

Thanks! RAD on Dude!!

1Up looks like a great bike rack; however, not sure there is any lock system to keep the bike on the rack. Might be easy to steal the bike.
