I had a tensioner alignment problem. Chain slips were resolved after aligning.

Thanks Solo.  :)

Not exactly but I have managed to get it done. The problem was to get the tensioner "in tension" you have to rotate one full time in order to get the spring inside in tension. It is a little tricky. The rest of the bolts and washers actually just fit in.

Service & Repair / RadRunner chain tensioner
December 03, 2020, 10:58:55 AM
Hi all,

I just got my RadRunner two weeks ago. I must say I am pretty disappointed by the assembly quality.

Anyways I am here to ask for some help to solve one of my last problems. I had to take off my chain tensioner (don't ask why, long story) and I now have 2 metal washers and one plastic washer that I don't know in which order to assembly.

Can anyone take a picture of their tensioner as a guide for me ? Or can anyone let me know by describing the order of the bits ?

Last question, there is a bit that came out which the purpose is to prevent the tensioner to extend backwards too much. How does this should be fixed ? By just pushing it back in the hole ?

Thanks everyone. I am really looking forward to ride the bike for the first time after solving this last problem.
