I have a Hollywood rack that works fine for 2 Rad Rovers.

How about putting it in a cargo trailer ((lots of options ) and towing that?  The trailer would have lots of other uses as well.  It?s easy to customize Wike trailers.

General Chat / Re: RadRunner 2 with a dog trailer?

Just about any bike trailer will work with your RadRunner.   I've got three different trailers I pull with my RadRover: a cargo trailer and two child trailers.   The real issue is what kind of hitch system the trailer uses  (and of course what kind of trailer your dog will consent to ride in!).  Most hitches attach to the axle.   Because the Rad axle is an odd size, you'll probably need to drill out the hitch bracket so it fits over the axle.   There are some posts in the forum about doing that.   I also read somewhere in the forum about a company (The Robert Axle Project?) that now makes an adapter that extends and reduces the diameter of a Rad axle so trailer hitch fits securely without modification.   Keep in mind that 55 pounds of dog is a lot of weight to be pulling -- especially weight with a high center of gravity that might also shift around -- and that it will reduce your battery range significantly.

Pull a cargo or kids trailer!

There is a fork mount in the box the bike is packed in.   You can use that.

The Wike cargo trailer that I pull with my Rover has a similar hitch.  You might need to drill out the hole in the hitch to fit the Rover axle and maybe use a washer to fill the recess if the flange on the stock nut doesn?t fit into it.  But mine works fine.  Don?t know about the length of the tow arm on the Burley but the one on the Wike is long enough. Good luck.

Has anyone figured out how to attach a BOB trailer to a RAD Rover?

I?ve pulled a couple of different kind of trainers with my Rad Rover 5.  If your Croozer uses the ?universal hitch? shown on their website, it might fit right on your axle bolt, perhaps with a bit of drilling to slightly expand the bolt hole if needed.  Might also need a washer to shim the existing axle nut so it clears the recess in the hitch.  I had mire than enough thread on my axle bolt to do that.  Be careful not to strip the threads on the axle bot because it?s not removable/replaceable.

How about a trailer?  I use a Wike cargo trailer with my Rad Rover.

It was the Pro Bike Tool cover, extra large, travel version.  Available on Amazon and elsewhere.  Well made and the right size for the Rad Rover.

I also found that removing my batter from the tray, then reinserting it to make sure it was fully engaged, solved an error code 30 problem.  My tight-fitting battery cover sometimes inhibits the battery from seating properly.  Also applied a little electrical grease to the terminals.

I've been pleased with my travel rain cover, which also protects against winter road salt here in Vermont.

General Chat / Re: Hollywood Bike Racks?

I've been very happy with the Hollywood rack for my Rad Rover.   Expensive, but very sturdy and well designed.  Tip for loading the bike so you don't have to lift the whole weight:  Position the bike at a slight angle to the rack; squeeze the rear brake lever and pull up and back on the handlebars; set the front wheel in the tray; lift the rear of the bike and set the back wheel in the tray.  Also consider getting a travel bike cover and a set of auxiliary LED lights you can attach to the rack and plug in to a trailer wiring socket.  Especially with the bike cover on, your vehicle brake and turn lights will be obscured.
