I had to hacksaw one tab off the QuadLock GoPro mount (since the GoPro stem caps also have 3 tabs, not 2), but it worked just fine.

Anyone else found another alternative to Rad Power's "upgrade" front light?

I'm 39 (technically a millennial!) and bought it to replace my 2017 4Runner. For how little I was using the truck, I couldn't justify the cost.

After a little while with just the bike, wish I would have done it sooner.

[mention]Altema [/mention] , I'm not quite a racing mechanic, but a garage mechanic, and I too know what it's like to be able to maintain nearly 100% of a vehicle. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only car-person here.

As for the lack of secure parking, I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps a long-ish braided Kryptonite cable could open up new possibilities to secure your eBike. It is not an issue where I live, and now I won't take that for granted.

I still insure the family minivan, which is used by the wife and kids. Nice to have the option  available. They still use it daily, but it would be nice to switch to something a bit more friendly to our planet.

I'm using the Wald 1392 basket with an Outer Shell bag, it measures 18″ side to side x 13″ front to back and 6″ deep, then tapers down a bit. Zip tied to rear rack.

Personally, I wouldn't put a larger basket on the back than this. It would hang off the rear end too much for my liking.

I've got a very impressive local bike path system in my town. The local council held a public vote on whether to allow eBikes on them, and people voted yes, up to Class 2.

I am an avid cyclist, and am new to eBikes. Recently replaced my vehicle with a RadRunner 1. Before I had my eBike, I had experienced a couple folks on eBikes on the bike paths. Most of them were courteous enough, but once or twice I've had someone zoom by like an a-hole.

Personally, I'm halfway into the camp of "eBikes shouldn't be allowed on rec paths", but it'll probably be down to the a-holes, like so many things are. I will continue to be extra courteous on the bike paths when on any bike, but one day, some dork will probably hurt someone and that'll be the end of it for all of us.

TBH, I kinda prefer riding the eBike on roads anyway.

The wood kit from Rad Power... I didn't like the light finish, so I sanded and re-stained a little darker. As you can see, the rear stay cross member interferes with the 4th mount, but it's plenty sturdy without it. I'll probably drill a relocates hole into the wood to get it in there. Hi team! I sold my Toyota 4Runner and replaced it with a black RadRunner about 2 weeks ago.

I've always been a car guy, but also been into bikes. With the pandemic having me working from home, the truck just sat in the garage and it became hard to justify the monthly cost.

So, this is really a big experiment for me. So far so good! It's more fun to ride the ebike than to drive, and it has released a bunch of monthly cash, and space in the garage.

I also have used Hexlox on my other bike, and they seem to work well. Pricey though, yes. Tiny and easy to lose if you're not super careful. I've never had any issues with them, but I've also seen YouTube videos showing them getting easily removed with a simple magnet. I still use them, but these days I'm just running Kryptonite cable through everything to lock up the RadRunner.
