I live even closer to the Atlantic.  I don't think there is anything that will keep out the salt air.  A cover would be good to keep off the rain. 

Has anyone tried one of the small motorcycle racks?  They claim to support 400-pounds and are far less expensive than the Hollywood.  Here's one example

The secret to removing greasy dirt from your hands and arms is to first pour a cupped handful of cooking oil (bacon grease works, too) into one hand then rub that thoroughly into the dirt.  Then wash your hands with Dawn dishwashing liquid or some similar liquid that's designed to remove grease.   Do this outside.

This works because the cooking oil will mix with the grease. Dawn is made with enzymes that hook into the cooking oil and remove it, taking the grease and dirt, too.  I learned this trick from a professional auto mechanic.  It's much easier on the hands than Lava.

Harbor Freight has a motorcycle carrier that would support the weight. It's around $160US and at times on sale.

My seat post is covered in something that is silver like anti-seize compound used on bolts in automobiles.  Is this stuff supposed to be there?  It is clearly functioning as a lubricant of some kind.

Try an actual penetrating oil such as Liquid Wrench rather than WD40.

I've just bought a new Radwagon 4.  Assembly went fine except the main seat post will not stop sliding down.  I've adjusted the clamp until I can barely close it, and the seat post still slips right down.  If I leave it all the way down and extend the secondary post, that one clamps securely.  Any suggestions?

I have no need to adjust the post after the initial fitting.  Can anyone recommend a bolt on clamp that will fit properly?

The only 48v solar charger I see is for golf carts and costs about $900.  I'd be interested in seeing if anyone has cheaper alternatives.
