General Chat / Re: Tires on new mini
April 12, 2021, 11:05:18 AM
After getting a screw through the sidewall in the rear of my new mini, I bought the kenda krusade 4". I noticed that there is no tpi rating on the cst tires (Puncture rating) but the kenda tires that I bought have a tpi of 30 which is more like a motorcycle tire. It's also quite a bit heavier tire.

I recently got the new controller installed on my new Radmini. I also noticed that you received the screen with a neat upgraded display. I have nothing bad to say about the display I think it is way more interesting to look at. Also, installing on the mini was not easy, a little creativity and reengineering is required.

RadMini / Re: Connector wire at the crank ?

I had one of those too. I never figured out what it did. My guess is the controller is configurable for different applications. I replaced the controller with one that doesn't have that plug.

This happened today! Double locked the bike to a power pole and walked a mile and a half back to my house to get my truck. For those who care, I saw the tannus kit on the rad website today. $143 with inner tubes for the mini 4.

Update, installed the Kenda krusade tires from Rad that actually have a TPI rating of 30 are much tougher tires than the lame CST big boat tires that are flimsy and soft and have no rating that came on the bike. I'm also going to put the Tannus in them when they arrive. Put 16 miles today on the new tires and they are much better.
