Yes, Jim, it is a significant elevation gain. That's why, in my opinion, unless you want to be sore every night, eBikes are the way to enjoy the park.
I made a lot of upgrades since I last posted. The Runner has: 1) another Rad OEM battery above the rear wheel under the rack wired in; 2) orange reflective trim on the rims, 3) Ergon grips.
The Rover has 1) bigger pedals; 2) spare Rad OEM battery carried on the rear rack; 3) 35amp controller and display; 4) guard on the bottom; 5) front and rear cargo bags. 6) orange reflective trim on the rims; 7) dropper/suspension seat post.
The Runner was previously upgraded with 35 amp controller and display, 750w Bafang motor, suspension seat post, better seat, bigger pedals.
I will post a few photos of the bikes soon.
We are looking forward to the ride in the park with family and friends again in a few weeks.
