RadCity / Love my bike
September 08, 2021, 05:34:36 PM
I now have 160 miles on my new city st & am beyond pleased.  It exceeds my expectations.  I had it on a bike trail last evening that I would not have chosen to ride if I had known the storms exposed rocks & terrain not intended for a street bike.  HOWEVER I made it thru w/o damage or an accident.  Life is good - especially on my RadCity ST

RadCity / Pedal Assist Inconsistent
August 23, 2021, 04:01:31 PM
I have had my 2021 RadCity bike approx 3 wks now with 100 miles recorded.  Great bike, but my ability to change the PAS lvl is inconsistent.  When stopped adjusting from 1 to 5, up or down is a simple light touch.  When pedaling and increasing PAS up from 1 to 5 is normally no problem.   Decreasing the PAS however as the Hill is crested or simply going down the hill while changing to a higher gear is the problem.  Oftentimes I need to depress the decrease PAS button multiple times & then visually check to verify the change taking my eyes off the road/trail.  Is this normal?  Anybody else have this problem.  Suggestions anyone?
TIA

Thumbs up.  This seat post is amazing, and has eliminated virtually all road vibration from the seat.  The ride is now even more amazing.

Has anyone replaced their saddle post with a  Thudbuster L & mated it to a Cloud 9 seat?  If not could you please recommend a different saddle.
TIA

I like the idea of the Abus frame lock however I was unable to find  5650l nr anywhere on the net.  Checking the specs on both locks they appeared to be similar.  I also spoke w/the US Abus rep & he verified the fastening  dimensions for both locks was the same.

I purchased the 5750l nr & installed it on my radcity step thru.  I needed to remove the rear wheel & slightly file both top slotted holes to mount the lock.  Easy installation, looks good, it fits & operates perfectly.

The bracket installed on my new Radcity ST blocked movement of the derailleur not allowing me to shift into gears 6 or 7.  As evidenced in the photo the cable's retention allen screw hits the bracket assembly.  The bracket has no marks or apparent damage, but either it's a wrong bracket or has been damaged.  I removed the safety bracket & the bike shifts great thru all gears in both directions.

I spoke w/Rad CS & sent them photos so hopefully I'll have a response & hopefully a part soon.
