I did the controller and display mod but I'm still on the stock battery.  I simply located the EBW controller in the same location on the frame where the stock one was. Cable ties are currently doing the job but I do have a plan for a blind nut insert and a fresh bolt and intend to have a rigid, stock looking permanent solution in place soon.  I just got mine a couple weeks ago and don't ride the RR every day, so I haven't felt rushed. The controller alone has been nothing short of transformative for my single speed Shopping Cart on wheels.

Thanks for the reply on this.  I've been looking more closely into the phaserunner since my reply to your post, so it's nice to hear a little more about it.  Those are impressive speeds on a Radmini, like wow.

Lots of food for thought here.  We recently also acquired a bafang mid drive equipped bike, and finally drew the connection between Grin tech and the cycle satiator we already happen to have around here thanks to the generosity of a fellow tinkerer  friend, I'm seeing what's going on here in this Phaserunner world and I think I like it. The EBW kit has been fun on my Rad Runner but I'm intrigued by the possibilities this type of controller.  Looks like i am going to need a Cycle Analyst as well.

Everyone likes to talk about the factory speed limit and somehow finagling things past that point via either the Display/Controller mod, or the Eggrider V2.  My personal experience has been that the Eggrider V2 doesn't pull as many amps/watts as the 35a controller (I have the Electro Bike World version), but neither solution does much to change top speed on my Original Rad Runner.  High cruise speed still seems to be 20-20.5 on my bike with either system and almost regardless of the wheel diameter I try to designate the bike in a bid to confuse the speed sensor.  The EBW controller HAS improved my throttle response and torque by a noticeable amount though, and
IMO is worth it even without being able to unlock Plaid Speed.  Interestingly, and this may still come down to subtle differences in motor or gearing, but the WIfe's RR Plus seems to be able to cruise at almost 23 at the top of it's charge, with the Eggrider V2.  The Plus just likes it better, perhaps?  Or did my wheel circ mod actually work on that one?  Not positive tbh, and still experimenting. 

Still- I'd love to know what I"m doing wrong with my programming vis a vis the 35a controller because sure I'd take an extra 3-5mph as well, if they are just lying around in there.

Finally, I did a walk around video of one of our Rads and discussed the EBW controller and how similar (identical) it is to the Bolton/Big Game Bikes offerings, as it seems nobody has recorded much on YT yet about the Electro Bike World kits. Just checking but you're running the Phaserunner controller on a RadMini?

This sounds like an interesting option for our bikes bu looks like it comes in a little above the cost of some of the other controllers (35a Bolton, Electro Bike World)- but this sounds like it's got your mini moving along at a fair bit above stock speeds. I am looking at their product info page now and I might have to watch these videos about setup. We already have a Eggrider V2 on one bike and the Electro Bike World combo on the other, and yet, here I am...
