Video you linked isn't for the 5 plus. There was a video out there but it has been taken down. I did it to mine and it works, however I don't recall how to do it so I stuck with the 25mph setting, I guess there are worse things ;D. If anyone does recall how to, please post up. I would like to know how to switch it back to factory setting just because. Thanks

Hello,
Just took shipment of my RadCity 5 plus and was in the process of moving my large Rad basket FROM my Radrunner To the rear rack of new bike and that's when I discovered the hardware is not compatible. The Radrunner used a larger diameter and longer bolt that you attached a nut to the bottom. The Radcity is smaller diameter and length and just threads in. Anyone know the dimensions so I could pick up at hardware store versus trying to order from Rad? Thanks

I've used a small piece of black rubber automotive type hose that I cut and split to fit. You can buy it by the foot at AutoZone, Home Depot, etc.

Great idea,I'm going to try this. Thanks!

General Chat / Rad/king meter shims for handlebars?
October 20, 2021, 12:30:33 PM
Hi all,

I've got the basic radrunner and scored a king meter display straight from China (AliExpress). I just installed it and it seems to work as advertised. However they did not include the clamp inserts(shims?) so just the outside mounts are wayyyy too big without the shims. For now I just wrapped a bit of weather stripping around the inside of them to have something to tighten down to. It works but it still moves around a bit. Does anyone have a good DIY tip for a solution or point me in the direction of where I can find the actual parts?

Thanks in advance

RadRunner / Simple Radrunner plug and play monitor?
October 07, 2021, 07:29:18 AM
Hi All,

New to the forum and tried a seach for this but didn't see anything to answer my question. I have the Radrunner 1 without display, I've been waiting on Rad to refresh inventory for about 6 months now and nothing. What is an easy plug and play aftermarket monitor I can use? I've found this 24V/36V/48V KT LCD8H Color matrix Display Meter Control Panel for ebike KT LCD8H that looks like it may work but my question is will I need a new controller as well? I'd like to keep it simple and economical and JUST add a display.....

Thanks in advance,
