I got a 2019 RadCity ST.....and after just a few miles I knew I had to do something about the shifter. Having to move my right hand off the grip to reach the shifter every time didn't make sense to me.
So I switched the positions of the brake clamp and shifter. This requires some grinding/filing of the brake clamp (to get a nice tight fit) and a slightly longer screw for the shifter clamp (bar is a little thicker near the throttle body). A brake application is now a 2-3 finger operation but that is not a problem.....not having to move your hand to shift? Priceless!
I wear gloves to ride (old motorcycle guy...can't ride without em') changing PAS levels was more than awkward...I crazy-glued furniture bumpers to the existing recessed buttons.
With the City's lower torque one tends to shift and even change PAS levels a lot more I find...This helped...A LOT
I also have a RadMini...I made the same changes to it as well. Cheers, F
