RadRover / Re: Where are all the 2015-2016 Radrovers?

There's still a lot of the first gens still out there. I have a nice one I bought in 2017 and it's been a great bike. Did the Bolton motor upgrade and the controller/display panel upgrade along with Shimano hydro brakes. I'm getting rid of it as I got the RR 6+ ST. I also swapped tires and tubes as I had upgraded to Maxxis tires and Tannus Armour liners - plus side is new tires/tubes for the old Rover.  Hip problems and the tall top tube forced me to ride a lot less the last few years, but this Step Thru is awesome! I'm really enjoying riding whenever and wherever I want again.

For the RR 6+ and possibly other Rad models, this works great. Plus if you have the equipment to wire it up you're only looking at a little over $30 for a really bright 2 CREE LED light by a reputable company. Here's the link for the Lezyne Micro Drive 500  https://www.geartrade.com/item/815598/lezyne-e-bike-micro-drive-500-light-black-one-size  and the link for a good DC/DC converter https://amzn.to/3Qx4Hzp

I installed it on my RR 6+ ST and it looks great and puts out decent light, and it looks very minimalist compared to Rad's lights. Note that Geartrade link is a fantastic discount and the light is new, and I'm not an affiliate at all.

Rad Modifications / Re: Etsy Headlight

I just got the Radrover 6+ ST and decided to upgrade the headlight (just wasn't bright enough for me for night riding). After researching I got one of these Lezyne lights https://www.geartrade.com/item/815598/lezyne-e-bike-micro-drive-500-light-black-one-size and one of these dc/dc converters https://amzn.to/3SPLcDF and wired it up. It's nice and bright and looks really minimalist to boot. Plus I did a great wiring job if I say so myself.

I have a 2017 high-step that has been a great bike (lots of upgrades including the Bolton Rover upgrades). But my hips are really giving me problems even after one hip replacement, so I went ahead and ordered the 6 Plus step-thru. I'm looking forward to ridng comfortably and being able to mount/dismount without issue, especially in emergency situations. Still I'll be sad saying goodbye to the '17.
