So today I had a little freak accident. I was riding my bike and rode over what looks like a chainlink fence wire. Somehow, inexplicably, it kicked up and wrapped itself around a couple spokes and the rear cassette. Of course it stopped the bike in its tracks, like a hard stop. I figured I would unwrap the wire and would be back on the road. No such luck. The motor did not come back on and the display also did not work. I replaced the two 30a fuses figuring the extreme resistance on the motor may have fried the fuses. Still no luck. I dont see any wire damage going to the controls. Anyone have a clue on what I should do next. Bike is out of warranty.

RadCity / Rad city error
November 08, 2023, 05:33:43 PM
So I was riding today and was coming up to an intersection. I applied the brakes to slow down, and started to pedal again but the bike just died. Initially it showed error 25. It was dark on side of the road but tried to go through all the steps to clear the error. Nothing worked. Now the bike doesn?t even give the error code. When I hit mode to power up the bike, the control display comes on momentarily but then goes black. No error code is displayed. When the battery is off the bike, it shows it is fully charged. When I install the battery on to the bike, the display on the battery goes through random numbers until it shows 0%. This is a newer after market battery. It has not gotten wet at all. I don?t think it is the battery. I am guessing it is the controller. Bike is about a year and a half old. I am assuming rad power will be useless in directing me, so came here first, but I will reach out to them.

Service & Repair / Battery replacement with UPP

Hi alll, my battery on my rad city 4 is cooked. Had it tested and it?s done. I am looking at the unit pack power replacement but struggling to find the one with correct connector pin scheme. OEM battery is 48v 14ah 672 wh) battery. Does anyone know the model to buy where the pins for the connectors will be same as the rad connector.? Pin is different than on original.  Would prefer getting it off Amazon.
