Nice one DickB! Thanks for the reply and that troubleshooting information is really helpful. I do have a multimeter so will give it a go and report back.

Sadly I'm only a few months out of warranty with Rad EU, I purchased the bike in Nov 2022.

There isn't a switch on these lights. Also, the rear light shouldn't be blinking when on, it should be on/solid.

Hi fellow Rad Owners!

My wife owns a RadRhino 6 Plus, and we've encountered an issue with the lights.

When the lights are switched on, the handlebar display indicates that they are on, but the front light doesn't work. Meanwhile, the rear light blinks continuously. If I turn off the lights using the display, the rear light stops blinking.

The brake light functions correctly regardless of the lights being on or off. I've checked all the connections, and everything appears to be in order.

Is there anything else I can do, or does something need replacing?

I took a video, which can be found here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

My wife has a RadRhino, the step-through version, that she absolutely loves. I went to charge the battery today as it was down to 2 bars on the test button. So I removed it from the frame and plugged it in to the charger. The charger however only shows the green light, rather than turning red when the battery is plugged in to it.

If I run my finger over the top of the battery, I get a very slight "fuzzing" sensation, I'm not sure how better to describe it. I've had it from metal-cased laptops before when they're plugged in and charging. If I unplug the battery and do the same test, the sensation goes away. So it seems the charger is OK and it was certainly fine the last time I used it.

I note a post on here about fuse replacement on these semi-integrated batteries. Would that sound like the best way to go, to start looking at the two fuses inside the battery?

600 euros for a new battery is something I definitely want to avoid!

Thanks in advance.
