Did you ever fix this issue? I have the same problem. I have checked my connections and it has not improved.
Not sure if I need a controller, a motor, or a display (mine is the radrunner2 so it just has LED lights no screen).

Just following up to see if you came up with a solution. It's approaching the rainy season here in Northern California and I bought as an all-arounder, but also to commute. I'd like to keep my work clothes clean if possible.

Service & Repair / SOLVED!!!!!!! - WATER IN HUB -...
Last post by Panamakid - November 14, 2024, 03:56:19 AM
I have a radrunner2 almost 2 yrs old.
Last week I hit a bump and the motor did not work for a few seconds but came back on and rode home normally.

A few days later I hit a small bump and the 40A fuse died.

I have checked the connections.
No corrosion or anything.

The motor now randomly stops responding to pas or throttle. I have ran it with everything disconnected/unplugged except throttle, battery, controller. Then I tried only only connecting pas sensor, battery, controller.

Same result the motor randomly stops, then will reset and turn back on.

The motor just randomly stops running if you wait a few seconds or pedal backwards it comes back on. How can I know if it's the controller vs hub?
I have replaced the 40a fuse 3x this week while trying to troubleshoot.

RadKick / Error 6 and General Low Power ...
Last post by evanssd - November 10, 2024, 07:59:45 AM
I have the new RadKick Belt Drive and have been experiencing a drop in power under 50% charge. No matter how hard I pedal when the battery is below 50% I cannot get the speed to 20mph. Generally it just feels sluggish at lower battery levels. Under 20% I started getting the ERROR 6 message - Battery undervoltage error with a complete loss of power. I love the bike, but very frustrating to see a drop in power especially on longer rides. Anyone else having this experience?

General Chat / How long can a Rad battery las...

I tested the Standard Battery on my Rover 5 when it was new, and now again after 5+ years and about 5000 miles on this battery. (I have 8700 miles on the bike, but have two batteries which I occasionally swap.) The battery has not noticeably degraded.

The test consists of my riding the bike throttle only fully open on level roads until it virtually quits. I stop every two miles and measure the battery voltage after 60 seconds. The battery is still performing like new, except for the last few miles.

I ride 12 miles most every day, and charge to 80% after every ride. The bike lives in my garage in Florida, so it is subject to 80+ degrees (often 90+) nearly all year. I have a meter on my charger that shows that the charger adds about 110 Ah on a charge, which is about 1/6th capacity. So I'm doing the equivalent of one full charge every 6 days. That works out to about 335 full charge cycles. Rad advertised 800 cycles on the battery when I bought the bike; the cell manufacturers say 500 cycles.

RadCity / Re: integrated battery shorted

I recently made this mistake as well. I was trying to see which key was the battery key ( i never remove the battery) and accidently touched it to the charging port. A spark came out and now my two displays are not working. I literally had just picked it up from the bike repair shop! Will I now need to replace some sort of display wiring to get my bike to run again? It is SO SAD!

Quote from: MachWon on July 04, 2023, 10:05:59 AMHere is the pinouts of a Bafang Controller, just seems really odd that that Bafang would change something from G062 to G063 that stop it from functioning correctly, from what I can tell from reading what's online, they changed the connector, the torque to 95nm(?) and the windings on mine indicate 5.5T I believe. I searched everywhere and can't find anyone with this motor and a controller combo.

Добрый день, белый провод 5, куда присоединяется на контроллер?
