Rad Mini headlight not turning on

I have a lightly-used 2018 Rad Mini. The headlight has recently been flukey. Sometimes it turns on and more often is not turning on. I've always turned on the headlight as follows: after turning on the display I hold down the middle and top buttons to turn on the light. Currently this doesn't always work. I have seen a video that suggests I might need a new wiring harness or possibly a controller. Could these be the cause, or should I look at something else first?

A similar Post suggests checking a light switch on the headlights.
Logic tells me to concentrate on the headlights since that's the only thing that you are having a problem.

Thanks for the suggestion Naranja. Aren't the two buttons (top and middle) the light switch?

If you still have your manual check there.  Or it may be on Rads website under Q&A. I upgraded my controller so I don't recall.

I am sorry I do not have the same configuration as yours, I have a City5. The light switch is a single button. My comment was from your description of the problem you are having with the light. Have you tried putting a meter in the connector or inspect the connector for any damages?

Maybe there's a problem with the wiring.

BTW, As a backup I picked up a rechargeable flashlight at Costco. I think HomeDepot has a cheaper ones.

You can remove the headband and zip ties it anywhere.

I need it for work but I only need one. So I put one in my ebike box. I only wished that the rechargeable Li-ion was compatible with my other AAA devices.
