Rad City needs new tires and innertubes, best puncture resistant tire?

1700+ miles and original 26 x 2.3 tires are toast. Tread is very worn and too many punctures. Main issue is constant punctures and tired of patching once a week. 17 mile daily commute but that includes 2 miles of gravel each day. Need more robust tires and tubes but having a tough time finding anything in stock anywhere. Can I use a slightly smaller or wider width on the the 2.3 rim? Any suggestions on a puncture resistant tire/tube combo? Prefer a hybrid type tread.

I'd personally get some Tuffy liners: https://amzn.to/3kKLI4r

You should be able to go slightly smaller and my guess would be slightly bigger as well. For instance, I went to 2 in. wide studded tires on my RadWagon which had 26x2.3 in tires. Is your RadCity new? Did it have the puncture-resistant tires already? These from Rad: https://radpowerbikes.pxf.io/g1jg3g

Yes, our bikes had the supposed puncture resistant tires. They obviously aren't very resistant as we've had at least 14 punctures plus the tread was literally worn out by 1700 miles. So I replaced the tires with 26 x 2.0 HARDROCK'R with flaxjacket, and went with Slime tubes. The tires fit great and ride smoother, but time will tell. If I can go 500 miles or 4 weeks without a puncture I'll be a happy rider.

Tannus Armor is also an interesting option. They are a foam insert that keeps objects from reaching the innertube because of the distance, and it seems like they would work pretty well. No flats for me yet at 900+ miles, but that could change in an instant, so I carry a patch kit.

Another vote for Tannus Armour, I just received mine but haven't installed them yet.
Check out the YouTube videos, you can still ride if they're punctured.
