How does bell work

I have a new 6 plus and assembled it myself. I dont know how the bell works and i dont want to break the switch. Anyone seen any instructions? Mine is mounted underneath and alongside the front brake lever.

You flick/push the lever with your thumb and let go, and it rings with a thunderous...."ting!" [emoji23]
