Hi all, wanted to share this as now there are a handful of products on the market like this. It is a front mounting plate for Rad Power Bikes that gives you the ability to mount bottle cages to either side. The most recent one comes from GZila and they are sending me one so I can show it in a video. My brother also bought one of the Cascade Manufacturing ones. What's cool about the GZila ones is they are adjustable (plus offered in orange!). I don't think you can go wrong with any of these - they are a great accessory to have. I'm currently using one that was 3D printed which has held up fine.

Here are the options on the market today. Please send me others if I missed any:

MRI-Denver: https://mri-denver.com/shop/ols/products/front-bottle-holder-mounting-bracket

I bought a black aluminum Cascade one. I have a Pedego branded Foldy Lock mounted to it. I'm probably pushing some weight limit but so far it works great!

i just picked up a 6" long piece of 2.5" x 1/4" aluminum U channel that I'm going to use for building something similar. i haven't decided what'll be mounted to it yet though. i am seriously considering locating my LCD display on the one side.

Just received the Gzila one today. Looks great!

How well do you like it?

That's useful... there's NO bottle bosses on the Rad Mini, and this fixes that!
Hmmm, I might be able to use the GZila as a base for a camera mount.

Either this or the SKS Germany anywhere mounts are a good option: https://amzn.to/2G0oFn5

I ordered MRI-Denver in July and have not still not received. No one answers their e-mail or phone.
I will have to get from another source. GDILAdesigns looks good, and is the same price as Mri.

I got the Gzila mount but the cage I got hits the fork if I tilt the mount. If I leave the bottle holder straight up it's ok but not much room above the fork.

I will try ordering a different cage. The first picture is with the mount straight up and the second picture is the mount tilted all the back.

When someone figures out the ideal cage for the gizila please post.

Thanks

This is the first cage I got off Amazon. See the pics in my previous post. The cage hits the forks.

This is the cage I got today from Amazon.

The cage on the left is the first cage I bought $11.99 for a pair and the cage on the right is the one I just got today $5.99 for a pair. As you can see the cage on the left is thicker metal and looks stronger. The cage on the left has way more reviews.

The second cage I bought, if I put it straight up it hits the handle bars but clears the forks, opposite of the first cage. If I tilt it back half way it clears both the fork and handle bar. I want it tilted so I will be using the second cage even though it looks cheaper. It was the only one I could find where the bottom screw hole on the cage was lower.

My water bottle is 9 1/4" tall. This was the shortest insulated water bottle I could find.

first pic, cage straight up clears the fork.
Second pic, cage straight up. Hits handlebar.
Third pic, cage tilted half way back. Clears the fork.
Fourth pic, cage tilted half way back. Clears the handlebar.
fifth pic, what it looks like sitting on the bike.

I mounted a WB cage on the front rack.   I chose this one because it would go small enough to fit the front rack.
