Secondary kick stand for rad runner

Unless I'm missing something obvious I'm unable to prop the bike back onto the kickstand while I'm still on the bike. I want to be able to do this when I'm riding with my 4 year old in the child carrier so that I can get the bike into a somewhat stable position before I dismount to help him off the bike.

Has anyone tried installing a regular kickstand for this purpose or perhaps a different solution?

Not sure if this will work for you, but I installed a kickstand on my RW4.  AliExp has a few different kickstand configurations which may work for you.
