engine only twitches briefly

We have a Radwagon from 2018 or 2019 (bought used 2 years ago). It has a hub motor in the rear axle and is the model with a throttle grip, 25 km/h and 26 inch wheels.

The following problem:

The motor no longer provides support when turning the throttle grip or when pedaling normally. To be more precise, it only "twitches" briefly, but doesn't even run for 1 second.

Unfortunately, our local bicycle repair shop politely declined. Unfortunately, Radwagon itself has stopped its European business and only has 3 service partners who are far away from us.

Does anyone have an idea as to what could be the cause of the problem?

Apparently all cables etc. are in place and nothing is torn off. The battery itself shows full charge status in the display/board computer and the LEDs on the battery itself are also full. It can also be loaded.
