No power to Rad Power Bikes Motor - high pitched sound from motor

This is a continuation of my thread that started with our RadWagon 4 display not recording miles or speed: https://www.radowners.com/index.php?board=4.0

The motor is now not functioning at all. At first it was intermittent, we'd have to turn on/off the bike and it would work for a little bit. Now it is completely dead though we do hear a ringing sound from the motor when engaging the throttle. The watts on the display also jump when hitting the throttle. Rad's response was that the new motor on order should fix this issue though the bummer is there is no estimate for when a new wheel assembly will ship. Curious if anyone has run into a similar problem. Fortunately, we have plenty of other ebikes to ride but the Wagon is our family-mobile. We're resorting to the Burley for now.
