As previously mentioned I've been looking at other brands of ebikes and a brand that jumped out at me was Ride1Up. They definitely play in the same area as Rad Power Bikes as far as value goes though they only focus on commuter style ebikes. I reached out to the company and they told me they were launching two new models. I decided to compare the now four models to dig into what you're getting for the money. Haven't ridden one, but definitely worthy of consideration.

Also, along with the ABUS Bordo Big 6000 I got to review a floor anchor by ABUS. This is a product that could make a lot of sense in certain circumstances. Enjoy!

Two more videos to share but first I want to thank everyone who has subscribed to my channel. I just crossed 500 subscribers and subscriber count is a main metric that companies look at to determine if it is worthwhile for me to review their products. Please consider subscribing if you have not already.

The first video below is about a multi-tool you may want to consider for your electric bike. It is what I wish I would have purchased when I first got my RadWagon. One of the benefits is that it comes with a spoke wrench which fits the 12 gauge spokes on all Rad Power Bikes models.

The second video is about financing your ebike. Perhaps not as applicable to the folks here since most already have a Rad Power Bike but something to think about if you're looking at buying another ebike. I also have blog posts on all of my videos over at my website: https://ebikeescape.com/

Two more videos to share. The first is a review of the ABUS Pedelec 2.0 helmet. ABUS makes a lot of different helmets but the Pedelec is geared towards ebikes, something that I haven't seen before. It meets standards which were specifically made for the increased speed of ebikes. The other cool thing is that the Pedelec 2.0 (and many of the other ABUS urban helmets) have built in LEDs. The other video is about the RadWagon 4 which was just recently announced. I think the changes are great though I think it's important to be aware of the smaller wheel size. If you plan to buy the RadWagon 4 I'd have a stock of tubes and perhaps a set of spare tires. I'm really hoping I get to compare the two RadWagons side by side.

In continuing the helmet trend I recently had the chance to review the Thousand Heritage helmets. These are pretty popular choice given their unique styling so check out the video below if you're curious. The second video is in response to a question from someone who was asking what affordable ebikes they should consider. You won't be surprised to see the RadRunner making the list.

Hey Ryan!
This was very helpful. Would you know if the discounts would still apply if I were to finance my bikes?

Hi Jennica, since the financing option is just a payment type you can still apply a discount code. At the moment I believe the gift card discount is the only one available. I update this page with any discount codes I find for Rad Power Bikes: https://ebikeescape.com/ebike-discount-codes-by-company/

Awesome! Thanks Ryan! I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a radmini step thru and my boyfriend a radmini 4! It is unfortunately backordered until September but now I can rest easy that it is at least coming within a few months. Can't wait!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a great summer so far. Here are two more videos that are relevant to Rad Power Bikes owners. I did receive a new electric bike last week so I have several other videos that are live on my YouTube channel if you're interested in that. Lots of more accessory videos in the works too.

I recently published two videos that might be of interest to those on the forum. The first is on the popular hitch mounted electric bike rack from Hollywood Racks. It works great and I've been happy with it though as with all electric bike racks they can be a bit pricey. From my searching though Hollywood Racks comes in a little cheaper given some can approach $1000. The other video is about the most popular accessory I see folks purchase for their electric bikes: mirrors. Hafny sent me several of their offerings so if you're looking for a mirror you can get an idea of all the varieties available. I am partial to the handlebar mounted as opposed to bar end and the clear glass instead of the blue glass. Enjoy!

Here are a few recent videos. The garage racks in the video below (non-fender) apparently will work with a RadRover - at least they appear to based on a Facebook post. Unfortunately I don't have a Rover to test on. As always appreciate all of the forum members who help make content like this possible.

A little late in posting these. The one on battery storage is timely given some of us are storing batteries for the season. And in case you missed my RadWagon 4 review. Happy Holidays all!

Good video Ryan, thanks! Is just drained my battery yesterday to 60%, and plan on using my second battery during the winter for the sake of saving wear and tear on the original. I just purchased a Luna charger with options for charging to 80, 90, or 100%. It has voltage display so you can also turn it off at whatever voltage you want.

In case anyone is curious, I've included a few key percentages and their specific voltages for 48 volt batteries.
100% = 54.6 volts
80% = 51.48 volts
70% = 49.92 volts
50% = 46.8 volts
25% = 42.9 volts
1% = 39.16 volts
0% = 39.0 volts
