Transporting E- Bike

Just waiting for delivery of my E-bike and was wondering if anyone ever transports their e-bike "inside" of their vehicle.
One of my vehicles is a CRV and although the bike will squeeze into the trunk, just wondering if anyone had any
guidance or experience. Thanks

Really nothing different about it compared to a regular bike, just a lot heavier getting it into the vehicle so two persons is helpful.  With a lot of wires and the displays there is a greater potential for damaging something if you slide it around.  I've put mine in the back of my Grand Cherokee with no problems but if I did it often I'd look at getting a hitch carrier.

You shouldn't have any issues putting the bike in the back of the CRV, unless you bought the Rad wagon. The wagon is probably way too long for most small/midsize SUV's.

Obviously you will need to fold the rear seats down and more than likely take the front wheel off. It helps to pull the battery off first to reduce lifting weight.

Ultimately you may want to consider getting a rack, like the Hollywood Rack. Though if you don't have a class four hitch on the car, that will need to be added. Class 2 hitches that come on a lot of smaller SUV's are not recommended for the extra weight of the rack/ebike combination.

I haven't even bought the bike yet (city 5 plus), but I got to try loading it into the back of my small SUV and found it very difficult. I have ordered a loading ramp:
