Good Alternatives for the Rad Runner Center Console?

Has anyone found an alternative RadRunner Center Console? I like the idea of it but it seems kind of bulky and I don't like that you can't lock it and the rubberband clasps don't seem easy to use. I already have a basket and the passenger seat but I'd like some additional storage without removing the passenger seat. I have the Rad Runner plus.

I've been looking around too. Only thing in the step through I can find is this mount for an ammo box. Seems like it might be a good solution since you can lock an ammo box.

I'm looking at some side mount pannier bags too for the side of the passenger seat. Maybe these two together will cover all my needs

Have you mounted it yet? if so, is it solid or will it flex with say 10lbs inside the box?

Hi! I'm the maker of this mount. I can't say for sure how much weight the box will hold for certain as I've never actually weighed out the capacity but I keep a foot pump, patch kit, hex wrenches and sometimes a water bottle in mine. The ammo case will flex long before the mount.

This is a great solution.  How wide is the mount?  I have a metal 30 cal ammo case that I would like to mount instead.
