Has anyone gotten the Bolton Controller and screen installed on their 2020 Mad Mini 4 bike? I got the kit but not the bike yet, and was wondering if anyone had it installed and working with space for the controller to fit. Thanks!

Hello,

I've done every mod available for my RAD Mini 2020 including Controller, LCD, 750-watt Bafang motor core swap, and custom 52v 30ah battery build. I got all the parts from a different site than Bolton but the parts are identical. The Motor swap is easy in that you remove the old core without removing the motor from the wheel and the new core fits right where the old goes and it makes a huge difference in torque and top speed.

I can send you pics if you'd like

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for posting pics Roberts. Just wondering what the top speed achieved with your modifications is.  What do u use to switch between the 52v and 48 v battery?  Thanks!

Roberts

Top speed I've got is 32 mph with the 52v battery.

The 52v and 48v have the same rad power end. I got a Xtc to Rad battery adapter from Bolton, cut off the Rad power end and soldered it to the end of my 52V battery. I just unplug one and plug in the other under the bike.

Thanks Robert
