Hi There, Does anyone know of a single bike transport rack thst can hold a 70lb plus fat tire e bike?
[Rad Rover Step Thru]. I'm not having much luck. Thanks

Just to throw out something to an unanswered question: I have a 2018 Rover and just recently picked up a rack for my "New to me" 2012 Explorer. In all my searching and comparing, the only thing I can say I saw, that came close to what you are looking for, is one of those heavy duty Motorcycle carriers. I only have one bike to transport but you never know when you will have a reason to carry a second bike so I just picked up a Hollywood Rack specifically for Ebike/Fat tire bikes. Something to think about.

I took my old two bike carrier and turned it into a single bike carrier with very little work. If you find yourself a good used 2 bike rack you can change it too a single with a drill and hacksaw.

Nice job! You could even adapt it for fat bike use.

Someone I know just picked up this bike rack for their RadMini. It is the cheapest option I've found: https://www.harborfreight.com/400-lb-receiver-mount-motorcycle-carrier-62837.html

I bought a Rola Convoy with 2" hitch at the local bike exchange ($100!).  The 2" hitch model has 80 lb capacity and can fit 4 in tires. Caution: the 1 1/4 " hitch is only rated at 50 lb.  CARID has the 2" for around $240.  You can add a second bike for about $170.

I like your very clean mod.  How about a home brew 2 Rads and 2 kayaks.

I just bought this as well. A friend spent some time doing minor modifications so it fits my Rover ST perfectly.

Initially I had a KAC Overdrive Sports K1 Rack (though just set up for 1 bike) and though it was a good enough rack I quickly figured out that I couldn't load my bike and then raise up the folding bar while still keeping the bike balanced... unless I had help-- and I'm not going to have help when I'm trying to load the bike back up when I'm done at the park.

The Harbor Freight motorcycle carrier was a lot cheaper too!

I started with one of these. Takes it out and up for clearance issues/

I'm looking at this for my 2013 Civic sedan - have to also add hitch mount. Do you have this 1up rack? How easy is it to get the bike on? I have a 2020 City.
