Replace hubmotor connector on 2019 Radrover

Hello, the male connector for the power to the hub motor on my 2019 Radrover, has been ruined due to overload, does anyone know if somebody has ever replaced this connector, and if yes, do you know where i could find a link?

I found a couple of youtube videos where somebody opened a bafang hub motor and soldered in a new cable. It looks challenging.

Today, JimInPt showed that Amazon has extenders for 9-pin motor cables. Cutting one would produce a motor cable.

Is the controller side of the connection bad, too? I think soldering a new cable into a controller could be worse. I might buy a new controller.

Hello handlebar, yes, you are right, it could be the solution.
Do you know if there is a drawing with wiring color code, that shows how this plug are connected, and are the colors of the wires, standard in this kind of plugs?

If you search for "ebike cables" or similar you can turn up other vendors and cables as well.  Hope you find one that works for you.

The color is the easy part. These guys leave lengths of the original wires when they snip them to pull out the old cable.

If you just need to replace the connector, maybe you can make your splices between the new connector and the axle, using heat shrink tubing over each solder connection, and for support taping the whole thing to the chain stay (instead of just using a couiple of zip ties). I'd use better tape than duck tape.
