Kickstand - Which is correct way

When I installed the kickstand it felt awkward how it was standing. It looked like it was not installed properly because the kickstand was in the way of the cables so I reinstalled it the opposite way. Now I am not sure. How was yours installed?

I don't have your model but it make sense to have the bolts going into the bike for easy access rather than your new solution.  But as long as you are able to tighten without issues then it sounds like you found your solution.

I agree with you 100%. It's just when I got the bike there was scratched and not tightened. It made me wonder. I put it together and applied thread lock.
